Pork Inc.

A concept for an app that aims to educate pork-eaters about the animal welfare within the modern Danish pork industry. The aim is to reach the right target group and communicate on an appropriate level by use of an unusual, more easy-going media – a game.

Everything within the game is based on hard facts from the industry. To win the game you need to play through the entire production process without going bankrupt.

In the .gif you can see details from the main menu interface, where you find an illustrated farm with game icons symbolizing the five different production phases, from insemination to slaughter.

The right target consumers would be reached through a guerilla marketing campaign. Marketing stickers would be put on the very product Pork Inc. aims to change.
